Native to most of temperate North America east of the Rockey Mountains.Gray Catbirds migrate to the southeastern United States,Mexico,Central America ,and the Caribbean in winter, except for the occasional vagrant they always stay east of the American cordillera. They are extremely rare vagrants to western Europe.Normally present on the bredding grounds by May,most leave for winter quarters in September /October,as it seems, this species is increasingly extending its stay in the summer range, with some nowdays remaining until mid-winter as far north as Ohio. The Gray catbirds is a migratory species,Spring migration rages from March to May,and in the fall ranges from late August to November.

The male's beautiful tail is used to attract females to mate with.To get her attention,he will open it wide into a splendid fan and do a complex dance. The tail vibrates, making a ratting sound while they show off their shimmering colors.it is belived that the female peacock choose her mate with the most impressive tail. They admire the eye markings on their tails and are said to mate with the male who has more 'eyes'.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   Males normally have a harem of 2-5 peahens. Each hen will lay 3-5 eggs. After the eggs hatch (about 28 days)the peachicks are able to walk and eat on their own within hours. They can fly they are about a week old.

Penguins

Penguins are found in the southern hemisphere, most Antartica the emperor penguin is the largest of these species. These are aquatic birds, which cannot fly. There a few species that are found in the temperate zone, like the Galapagos Penguins,as well. The most fascinating quality about Penguins is that they tend to live half of their lives in the chilly waters of the ocean and the other half on icy land.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            Penguins can spend up to 75% of their lives in the water. They do all of their hunting in the water.their prey can be found within 60 feet of the surface,so Penguins have no need to swim in deep water. They catch prey in their beaks and swallow them whole as they swim .Some species only leave the water for motting and breeding.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       During the breeding season, some species from large groups, that include thousands from penguins, each Penguins has a distinct call, allowing individuals to find their mate and their chicks even in large groups.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         Various depending on the species, though most breed during spring and summer.Various from 1 month 66 days depending on the species king and emperor penguins lay one egg.All other species lay two eggs.

The unique feathers of Owls it that it can rotate its head in any direction .                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       Owls eggs typically have a white color and an almost spherical shape, and range in number from a few to a dozen, depending in species and is the particular season, for most ,three of four is the most common number in at least one species female Owls do not mate with the same male for a life time,It is common for female burowing Owls to travel and find other mates, while the male stays in its territory and mates with other females.
